It would be to hard to figure out the conversion for AC. There were people there that didn't run as hard as they could. Like maybe Winnebago?

I know and have run on both courses and to say PBL's course is only 10-15 sec slower than Oakhurst (AC Sectional) is crazy. PBL's course is much slower at least 30 sec slower. At one time Oakhurst was said to be one of the fastest courses but things change...course may have changed...but Oakhurst is an outstanding course. Let's face it though...good courses or bad courses...almost everyone should PR at the state meet. The intensity level, the emotions, FANS, and all the hard work over the offseasons will pay off. Good Luck to all

I am sorry, but I have to say that at the AC sectional and the PBL sectional, you had to run hard or you wouldn't be going to state. I know Winnebago may have relaxed for the meet, but I can bet that there was no one there who took it easy in that race.

At AC, the point difference from second to sixth was 22 points and the point difference from third to sixth was 12 points. If Rockford Christian's kids run three places further back and the 4-6 teams all run two runners up, Rockford Christian isn't going to the state meet.

Interesting. This is kind of what I thought it would be, but after looking at AC alittle closer I'm starting to be a believer. I'm not sure PBL's fifth can put them that high.

Excellant point and I don't think anyone mentioned that RC lost there 5th runner before regionals to a season ending injury, so the whole RC team really stepped it up.

Ok here is my top 10 ten prediction.
1. Bago-Running tough all year, and out to get some revenge from ol Elmwood
2. Robinson-I say there top four all run there best on the same day, and they upset Elmwood.
3. Elmwood-Baring a great day by Robinson they are the number two team in the state.
4. Rockford Christian-Good team that may grap a trophy if any of the top three slip.
5. PBL-Another good team, but a weak 5th keeps them out of the trophy hunt.
6. Westmont-Another top team in the AC, really running well, and peaking at a prefect time (as they alway do).
7. Shelbyville-They run like they did at the Okaw Confrence meet, and take 7th.
8. Cumberland-Great pack of runners, and they could move all the way up to 5th if they have a good day.
9. Sherrard-Another great team that could just as easily move up to top 5 if they have a great day.
10. Beecher-Helped out by having two all-stater's, they can move up alot.
This is my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

Dbandre: Nice job on the mock predictions. Pretty close to accurate. I saw nothing but great races all around me today. Hope the races continue to be like this for seasons to come. I've got two mores years of them.

sc:
thanks, it's easier to make predictions when you have no bias. I have none in Class A, I have no attachments to any schools or runners. In AA I do, but I think I did good predicting their boys side.
Anyways Shelbyville and Tolono Unity suprised today. PBL getting 4th again has to be tough for them, but congrats to robinson.
Great season by all runners.

I would say 0 to -5 on the AC course. How did the other courses play out?
