Taking the top 5 runners from each Sectional it would go like this... including individual qualifiers from that sectional
AC: 4-Tedrick , 8-Smith , 9-Miroux , 10-Carlson , 16-Trancosco = 47 Elmwood: 1-Thompson , 2-Peterson , 3-Emerick , 6-Patterson , 15-List = 27 E-MEL 7-Morris, 12-Guinn, 19-Shimer, 20-Ulrich, 22-Loots = 80 PBL: 5-Paarlberg , 11-Feldhake, 13-Pacey, 14-Rhodes, 21-Brehm = 64
Rankings by Indv. = 1.Elmwood 2. AC 3. PBL 4. E-MEL
Rankings by Teams
AC: Teams : 1,5,7,10,12= 35 Elmwood: Teams : 2,13,14,17,18= 64 E-MEL: Teams: 3,11,16,19,20= 69 PBL : Teams: 4,6,8,9,15= 42
Rankings by team = 1. AC 2. PBL 3. Elmwood 4. E-MEL
I know i did team rankings a little different but thought it would be fun to do it that way.. go ahead with the comments. Just an intresting speculation - AC beats the PBL teams by my calculations with the way i did them

That is pretty interesting to see how the sectionals stack up to each other. My dad and I always look at that. We usually look to see what sectional had the most individuals and teams in the top 10 at state.

I think this states what no one before state would admit to... the AC sectional for Boys was defnitely the toughest. It was the same last year for Oregon. With the girls race, it is a different thing.

With the girls race, it is a different thing. ACC was the best, but just by a little. PBL was not far behind. The thing that hurt the PBL sectional was Cumberland having an off day. They are better than they showed at state.

Sparky: PBL sectional also missed Justin Jones at state. does anybody know more about what happened to him? he would have likely been a top 5 finisher

If Monticello stayed healthy it may have been a different story. AC was only 6 teams deep, but PBL was 8 teams deep. It would be hard to judge which was actually better. Elmwood was by far the toughest Girls sectional!

tfxc: Monticello would not have made it out of the PBL sectional if Clark had won the race. Foley would also have had to finish higher

I believe the PBL sectional was the toughest by far It was eight teams deep and nine had monticello been injury free you cant go by individuals but by teams
