How is Sean McNamara doing? I think he goes to U of Mich.
And what about the Dettman Twins? I know they're going to Oregon? That's pretty cool. Anyone seen anything about them lately?

McNamara was a redshirt freshman this year. Seemed like he faded towards end of year.
It looks like the Dettmans redshirted this year. They ran unattached in the race I saw results from. Oregon has to be considered the up and coming team with their recruits and 5th place finish with a very young squad.
Anybody know anything more specific?

wat do u mean "red shirts"? Red-Shirting (ing ) was developed to basically capture young talent for the future or to extend carrers for injuries. If there is a really hot prospect ( ie the Dettmans or Ryan Craven at Wisconsin last year ) but you already have a full roster that person can still recieve scholarship money but not compete for the team. So last year the Dettmans and Craven didn't run/compete with their teams even though they have full rights to practice with the team. Think they will red-shirt Jaeger at Wisconsin??? They have a loaded team and now adding on Craven and Landon Peathingy ( 2005 Michigan HS XC Champ )
