What happened to some of the top Class A CC Runners? I'm just curious what happened to Class A guys like Kacey Carr, Paul Jellama, Charlie Hatch, Sean Houseworth, Alex Gerber, and so on. If anyone knows how any former top Class A runners are doing could you please post. Thanks

Kacey Carr spent a year at the U of I then transfered to Olivet in Kankakee. His brother Cody is also there. They are both on the CC team. I heard that both are doing well.

I'm pretty sure Paul Jellema ran at DIII Nationals but I'm unsure of his place.

Gerber is also at ONU, and I think he was their 2 or 3 runner most of the season (they qualified for nationals as a team). I think former Class A runners Ben Fay and Brett Stewart were on the team. Chuck Hatch finished about 80th in his regional, he runs for Cornell. I think Houseworth is doing well, he is at Air Force. Ulrey had a great season at UNI, and finished only 8 seconds over 10K behind Stevens at the regional, compared to around 30+ over 3 miles at State Last year. Stevens was U of I's 2 guy this year.

Yeah I heard Jerad Koch went to Olivet, too. I'm liking the central Illinois power (Carr, Gerber, Stewart, Fay, Koch) Apparently they made it to nationals with five freshmen in the top 7, and Kacey only has Jr eligibility (shouldn't he be a senior?) Anyway, I checked out their site, their times are solid. They may be one of the top college teams in Illinois in a couple years.

Rockford Christian alum, Brandon Mull is tearing it up at Wheaton College. National qualifier in cross last year. Almost All-American. Looking good this year, running 24:30 - low 25's for 8K. athletics.wheaton.edu/index.asp?path=cross
