Keep an eye out for freshman Drew Kerschieter. Just popped a 15:51 3 mile last Saturday at Normal West invite (varsity). He won it clear of 27 seconds. Coming up from IESA state Champ team of Normal Parside. He was runner up to Ryan Mitsos in 2006.

yeah its a shame with what we've got. We have no freshman under 20 minutes and the fastest sophomore is in the high 18's
It's gonna be a 7 senior team next year

Class A Rockford Christian has a very fast freshman. He placed 10th overall at the ACC Charger Classic. They state the course as 3.0, but I believe it may be 2.99. Still, a quick time for any frosh. Check out some of the names ahead of him... 1 1 Marmion Josh Stein (Sr) 0:14:33.4 2 2 Waubonsie Valley Mark Schumacher (Sr) 0:15:11.1 3 3 St. Francis Garrett McKnight (Sr) 0:15:15.4 4 4 Marmion T.J. What about Scott Dvorak out of Westmont? I think he beat Tom Hoster at the Plainfield invite.

Dvorak finished 34th at Amboy with a time of 16:11. He also ran a 16:16 back in Sept at the Aurora Central Catholic invite, he's been improving all season. Could be under 16 before the season is over.

Westmont has 6 good freshman. Scott Dvorak, Henry Ardnt, RJ Pleva, Morris Jaspers, Joe Karam, and Patrick Robertson. All but one will run Varsity next year. That one is yet to be determined. Westmont should still be a very strong team next year.
