at the minooka invite thode(conant) won the 1st flight with a time of 15:07 on a slower course!!! 2nd- karas of plainfield north 15:11 3rd-denk hinsdale south 15:15 4th-keck (minooka) 15:23 5th- tanis(yorkville) 15:42 6th- heffernan (marmion) 15:44 In the second flight, fuchs of conant won it with a time of 15:30 and vleck of hinsdale south was 2nd in a time of 15:34

The guy at the timer/scoring table said that the results were being posted on-line almost immediately after each race. I failed to ask "on what web-site?"

was the aurora east regional really a 3.1? because i don't believe they had that fast of time for 3.1, i don't believe they could run those times even for 3

was the aurora east regional really a 3.1? because i don't believe they had that fast of time for 3.1, i don't believe they could run those times even for 3 I was at race - course was flat and fast but supposedly a real 3 - not 3.1 The first mile was not overly fast - but the next two miles were like all out - the Top 10 was all All State caliber runners The last 200M was an all out sprint a lot of position changing. The freshman from DGN fainted at chute and was taken out by ambulance Next week at Schaumburg sectional you will see some of the top runners and teams being left behind - I think NN, Wn, York, SCN are likely to advance - the fifth team is a toss up But DGN got eliminated today probably due to a down race by one runner - that could happen to any team at the "Sectional of Death" next week

I was actually pulling for little Silver ( the Freshman ) to qualify as an individual for the state meet. Tough way to end the season.
