It jsut seems like the state will keep getting better and better. Next years class looks even better then this years. absolutly insane. Sulkin, Pawola, and Gibson are gonna be talked about the most. Unfortunatly Gibson didnt run as well at State, but be assured he will be in the top 5 at state next year.

11. Josh Stein Marmion Academy 14:38 Jr. Stein is a senior Not my fault that time IHSA site is wrong, lists him as a junior 300 — Josh Stein (Jr.), Aurora (Marmion Academy) It jsut seems like the state will keep getting better and better. For Freshman I see (under 16 min): 51. Anthony Manfrin Dundee-Crown 15:16 96. Michael Scolarici O'Fallon 15:47 87. Paul Smith Dundee-Crown 15:44 100. Nick Sinadinos Lincoln-Way East 15:49 111. Jon Keable Dundee-Crown 15:59

Jon Keable Dundee-Crown 15:59 Tyler Jermann from Nap North was only 18 seconds behind Beattie. And Jermann was dealing with an injury for the first half of the season. Watch out for this guy in the 3200 this spring. Also for Freshman, although he didn't qualify, you can't forget Ben Silver from DGN. He ran around 15 flat a couple of times this season. He's still the top Freshman in my book for this season even though he didn't get to run at state.

Yeah, I was going to say Silver from DGN. What happened to him that kept him from qualifying? He actually broke 15 at detweiler earlier in the year.

The freshman silver? He was sick the whole week before regionals, and did not perform well at his regional (the aurora east regional) and didnt qualifie to sectionals. Its unfortunate, but i think he has a shot to go all state next year.

Yeah, he collapsed ( most likely dehydration and exhaustion )right before the finish and as reported by someone else, treated by medical personnel. He was reportedly running on a total of 3 miles that week.
