This meet was a very good one to watch, it proves that Central, Illinois still has some heat, and a variety of athletes to offer. The 19th annual Intercity Relay's contain Normal Community (2A, will be 3A next year), Normal Community West (2A, will be 3A next year), and Bloomington High School (2A, will be 3A next year. Placed 6th overall in the 2007 IHSA track meet), and Bloomington Central Catholic (1A, will be 2A when theres 3 classes next year). High jump (state qualifier 6'4): Ikechi Nnamani, Normal University, JUNIOR, wins at 6'4, barely missed 6'6 on first two attempts. If you want to see the complete results, go to www.pantagraph.com and go to varsity sports section then go to "track scoreboard". Todays performances were stellar, it shows Central Illinois is still present.
