IHSA moves A to 55.5% which puts enrollment up to 754. Some of the powers back down to A. St. Teresa, Olympia, Herscher, BCC, Rockford Lutheran, Benton, Princeton, Timothy Christian, Rochester, St. Edward, Freeburg to name just a few. Class A cross-country tougher than ever

Yes, Delevan will now be a major player. Probably missing some others that I didnt mention. So, three classes for class a is no diffferent then having two.

also, alleman and aurora central catholic may also be in class A. allemans been dropping numbers every year and very well might be class A and aurora central catholic which has a very young but talented team as well is really close to making the cutoff as well

One other thing to consider, you now have more teams in A and one less sectional. If you think it was tough to get out before in two class system, unless something changes it will be a whole lot tougher with only four sectionals. For example, as tough as PBL sectional was last year, now add BCC and Olympia to the mix.
